Navan rugby club on look out for next brian odriscoll
Navan rugby club are on the look out for the next Brian O'Driscoll and they are giving young players in the Meath area an opportunity to take up the oval-ball game.
The club have a strong under-age section and youngsters can join teams from u-6 to u-17.
A club spokesman pointed out how there are regular training sessions and games at Balreask Old for boys and girls at all levels.
The schedule of training sessions available for the various age groups are:
Boys: u-17 (players born 1998; training Tuesday 6.0 and Friday 7.0); u-16 (players born 1999; training Tuesdays 6.0 and Thursdays 6.0); u-15 (players born 2000; training Mondays 7.0 and Wednesdays 7.30); u-14 (players born 2001; training Mondays 7.30 & Thursdays 7.30); u-13 (players born 2002; Monday 7.0 and Friday 7.0); u-12 (players born 2003: training Wednesdays 7.0 and Fridays 7.0); u-6 to u-11 (players born 2009 to 2004; training Saturdays 10.30).
Girls: u-18 (players born 1st July 1995 to 30th May 1999; training Tuesdays 7.30 to Thursdays 7.30); u-15 (players born 1st July 1999 to 30th May 2002: training Tuesdays 7.30 and Thursdays 7.30); u-12 (players born on or after 1st July 2002); training Saturdays 10.30.
