Omahonys recover to book sfc final spot

Navan O'Mahonys recovered from a 0-5 to 0-9 deficit early in the second-half to book their place in the SFC decider with a 1-13 to 0-10 victory over Wolfe Tones at Pairc Tailteann this afternoon.

The Brews Hill outfit raced into an early 0-4 to 0-0 lead before Wolfe Tones rallied to lead by 0-6 to 0-5 at half-time. That advantage was stretched to four points by the 40th minute, but O'Mahonys settled and pulled 0-11 to 0-9 ahead before Stephen Bray netted the only goal to ensure no way back for the Tones.

O'Mahonys will face Donaghmore/Ashbourne in the SFC final at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday 19th October.
