Endless drama for colin keane

After losing a race in the stewards room on Friday night at Dundalk and drawing a blank at Cork yesterday, it was probably appropriate that a horse with a name like Endless Drama would get Colin Keane off the mark in the opener at Naas today.

The Ger Lyons-trained newcomer was an impressive winner of the opening maiden and had plenty of support from an opening price of 14/1 to win at 6/1.

Endless Drama hit the front about two furlongs out he stretched clearto the finsh with over five lengths to spare at the post.

Keane now requires four winners from three more meetings to break the record for the number of winners by an apprentice in a season.
