Walterstown seeking new manager
Walterstown GAA are on the look out for a new senior football manager/coach after David Beggy and Paddy Reynolds stepped down from the positions they held in 2014.
The former Meath players took over the senior team in Walterstown late last year, but they struggled to find a level of consistency in the SFC, winning just one game against IFC champions Gaeil Colmcille and drawing with Seneschalstown while losing to Simonstown, Dunshaughlin and O'Mahonys.
They also won just six of their A FL Div 2 games, losing six and drawing one. They were knocked out of the Feis Cup in the first round by Summerhill.
Anyone interested in this position can send their details to secretary.walterstown.meath@gaa.ie or contact Chairman Pat McMahon on 0862788568 by Friday 7th November.
2014 SFC results - Walterstown 0-8, Simonstown 1-18; Walterstown 3-9, Seneschalstown 2-12; Walterstown 1-9, Gaeil Colmcille 0-9; Walterstown 0-14, Dunshaughlin 3-9; Walterstown 0-7, Navan O’Mahonys 3-15.
