Ballinlough win again in leinster
Ballinlough notched up another win in the Leinster Club IFC when they negotiated a determined 14-man Raheen (Offaly) side in the quarter-final at Pairc Tailteann with two points to spare (0-12 to 0-10).
Last week they won by two points and they repeated the feat this week against a good Raheen team.
Ballinlough played against the wind in the opening half and were ahead by 0-7 to 0-4 at the interval - Raheen had Declan Byrne sent-off after 22 minuts after he collected two yellow cards in the space of about 60 seconds.
Raheen got back into the game after the break and were on level terms at the three-quarter stage, but the Meath champions prevailed.
Ballinlough will be back in Pairc Táilteann on Wednesday night for the final of Córn naBóinne against Nobber.
They will play away to St James (Wexford) in the semi-final of the Leinster Club IFC on 16th November.
