Meath players on the move

Navan man Aaron Shanahan has signed for Irish League First Division title chasers Ards. Shanahan played for Ballymena United in the IFA Cup final last season and was previously with Dundalk and Bohemian FC.

Two Parkvilla first teamers, goalkeeper Killian Hand from Slane, and midfielder Eoghan Breathnach from Navan have signed for Irish League Premier side Warrenpoint Town.

The duo had previously played together at u-17 level for Tolka Rovers in the Dublin & District Schoolboys League.

Last season Breathnach lined out with Athlone Town in the League of Ireland u-19 grade while Hand won the DDSL u-18 Super League with St Kevins Boys.
