Rte show visits kells to talk about jobs

Kells will be the focus for the RTE Marty Morrissey Show this afternoon when presenter Brenda Donoghue visits the town and broadcasts a live segment for the radio show.
The programme will be looking at the recovering economy and at how Kells’ fortunes are improving.
It will look at the jobs created by Mafic and will focus on the possible announcement of another major jobs boost for Kells within the next month or so.
Ms Donoghue will speak to local businessman, Hugh Morris, who was responsible for bringing Mafic Ireland to Kells through the Connect Ireland programme and who is also involved with next month’s expected announcement.
She also looked at the town’s inclusion in the European Regional Grant Aid Map and its positive effect on the area.
