Fifth meath style awards launched

Inspire magazine, the lifestyle magazine of the Meath Chronicle, is delighted to launch the fifth annual Meath Style Awards. From the growing popularity of the awards, we are pleased to announce that Specsavers in Navan are our main sponsors this year and we look forward to working with them this year to make it the best yet.

Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells have been our hosts for this event since the beginning and they bring their own brand of style and hospitality to the night.  Last year, there were 285 women at the awards and about 35 men.  The night is a celebration of the best businesses in Co. Meath involved in the style industry.

The awards applaud and recognise the best fashion boutiques-male & female, hair salons, interiors design, beauty salons and spas, social media and new businesses in Meath. Categories include Best Fashion Boutique, Best Interiors, Best in Accessories – there are 10 categories in total and the big award on the night is the Excellence in Style Award.

With the growing demand from businesses, this year we have introduced a new category; Best in Health and Fitness, which brings the total number of categories to ten. This opens up the entries to gyms, health spas, wellness centres, etc.

Companies enter themselves by downloading the entry pack, completing it & sending it to the Meath Chronicle office. The entry pack is downloadable at the end of this article. Companies can enter in a maximum of two categories.

We are also delighted to announce that our category sponsors for this year, some of them former winners, are: Ebony Rose, Wilkinson Jewellers, Ribbon Rouge, Beauty by Laura, JM Foods, John Lynch Carpets, Ashbourne Town Centre, Pat O’Byrne Menswear, Aura Leisure in Navan.

Irish TV were at this years launch, that took place on Monday 26th January in the Headfort Arms Hotel, interviewing Mary McGuigan from the Meath Chronicle and some of the sponsors. The segment will appear in their County Meath feature on Tuesday in 2 weeks time.
