Three meath lads on ireland u18 team
Three Navan RFC stars and Simonstown GAA players Conor Farrell, Conor Hand and Conor Nash have been selected on the Ireland u-18 club team that will take on Italy at Ashbourne on Saturday.
Farrell will captain the Irish team from openside flanker while Nash, who also played for Meath minors in their Leinster MFL win over Louth last Saturday, will feature at full-back. Hand will operate as a blinside flanker.
Nash would have been expected to feature for the minor footballers on Saturday for their trip to Edgeworthstown to take on Longford in the Leinster MFL, but his inclusion on the Irish rugby team means he will be unavailable for Denis O’Shea’s side.
