Semifinal place for meath minor footballers
Meath minor footballers topped Group D Leinster MFL following today's 1-9 to 0-5 victory over Tipperary at Páirc Tailteann where each side finished with 14 players due to two second-half dismissals.
Meath lost Conor Nash to a second yellow card at the end of the third-quarter, but Tipperary's Tommy Nolan saw a straight red following a challenge on Meath's Eanna O'Kelly-Lynch.

Meath were ahead by 1-5 to 0-4 at the interval and were never in any danger in thes econd-half with the benefit of the elements on a very cold afternoon in Navan.
Meath have now qualified for the semi-final and will be away to the winner of Group C on Saturday 14th March. most likely to be Áth Cliath (a second Dublin team but not necessarily Dublin's second team).
