Meath hill looking good in jfc tonights gaa results
Meath Hill produced an impressive performance this evening when they accounted for a good Summerhill team in the JFC at Dunsany with Down footballer Damien Turley making a solid contribution to the victory.
Meath Hill were ahead by 2-7 to 0-8 at the interval - the goals arrived from Christopher Yorke and Pierce McGrath - and they did enough to maintain that advantage in the second-half.
The opening game in Dunsany was a SFC tie which Summerhill won with plenty to spare as they defeated Wolfe Tones by 1-15 to 0-10 after enjoying a substantial 1-10 to 0-2 interval lead. They managed the victory with Conor Gillespie watching from the sideline.
