Funerals of aircrash victims on thursday
The funerals of the two Meath men, who were killed when their light aircraft crashed in the Blackstairs Mountains on the Carlow/ Wexford border on Sunday, will take place on Thursday.
The deaths of Bryan Keane, chairman of Athboy Credit Union and Paul Smith, who runs a trophy business have devastated the communities of Athboy, Kells and Rathmore.
Paul Smith’s remains will be reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, O’Growney Street, Athboy from 2pm until 8pm tomorrow afternoon. The removal on Thursday morning will leave his residence for St Lawrance’s Church, Rathmore arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Bryan Keane’s remains will be reposing at his residence at Williamstown, Kells from 2pm until 8 pm tomorrow, with removal on Thursday afternoon to The Sacred Heart Church, Mullaghea, Kells arriving for Funeral Mass at 2.30 pm, followed by burial afterwards in St Colmcilles Cemetery Kells.
