Pluses troops set to storm europe and the picnic
Johnny Pluse & The Storm Troopers of Love are hitting the road this summer to promote their forthcoming debut album ‘Ape Panic’.
Starting off in Spain at Bennicasim where they will play two sets, Trim based DJ Pluse and his latest project will then return to Ireland for a few local dates including sets in The High Horse, Trim and at Hannah’s in Navan before finishing the tour at the sold out Electric Picnic in Stradbally in September.
Johnny Pluse & The Storm Troopers of Love’s bouncy SKA sound has picked support from the likes of Lady Waks, Dub Pistols, Jay Cunning, Marvelous Cain, 2 Bad Mice as well as Chopstick Dubplate, John Gibbons and Mark Kavanagh.
The lads have also have a promo video out at the moment, produced by Irish Film Company Bad Apple Films. This a mix of interviews, videos and live footage, giving an insight in the madness of the ‘Troopers’ and their electric live show.
‘Ape Panic’ drops in August on Bulabeats Records.
