Easy for kildalkey as gaels blown away
The scoreboard tells the full story of this second round SHC tie at trim this evening where Kildalkey won by 6-18 to 0-9 at the expense of a hard-working Blackhall Gaels team.
Blackhall were well in contention at half-time as they trailed by only three points (0-6 to 0-9) but that was after playing with the benefit of the strong wind.
Blackhall goalkeeper Emmet Dalton also made a number of good saves, but he was blitzed in the second-half and the Gaels had conceded defeat long before the end - which aided Kildalkey's goal-haul.
Derek Doran scored four with Martin Healy and Padraig Geoghegan also finding the net.
