Kildalkey do enough to win just

Kildalkey made hard work of negotiating Navan O'Mahonys at Trim this evening, but they eventually prevailed by six points as they won on a 1-21 to 1-15 scoreline.

Kildalkey were ahead by 0-11 to 0-9 at the interval although O'Mahonys had a 'goal' disallowed for a square ball infringement that could be described as harsh.

Derek Doran added a KIldalkey goal after the resumption to increase the lead to 1-16 to 0-11, but John Foley's goal had O'Mahonys back in contention, but the navan men were unable to overhaul the deficit.
