Tragic discovery in drogheda

Gardaí in Drogheda are investigating the discovery of a body believed to be that of 37 year old missing man Stephen O’Callaghan.

Stephen was last seen in the town at approximately 7pm on 7th July.

The discovery was made yesterday afternoon at a house on Rathmullen Road and the body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where a post mortem examination is taking place this morning.

At this stage in the investigation foul play is not suspected.
