Final round of hurling group games scheduled

The fifth round of fixtures in the SHC will take place on 28th and 30th August.

The qualification places from Group A are already clear with Kiltale, Trim and Dunboyne in the knock-out phase after the weekend results, but Group B is not finalised.

Kildalkey and Killyon look guaranteed to qualify, but depending on results from the three games, it is possible that four teams may finish on six points - Kildalkey, Killyon, Navan O'Mahonys and Blackhall.

However, more likely is that Kildalkey will top the group on eight points (beat Rathmolyon), Blackhall will move on to six with a win over Dunderry and Killyon and O'Mahonys could end in a draw - enough to put Killyon through also.
