Keegan cup final on bank holiday monday
The Meath SFC Keegan Cup final will now be played on Monday 26th October with Navan O'Mahonys and Na Fianna both having an extra week to prepare for the big game following Ireland's Rugby World Cup victory over France this evening.
Meath Co Board confirmed to the Meath Chronicle that the alternative date will now be used to avoid a clash with the Ireland v Argentiana Rugby World Cup quarter-final which is scheduled for 1pm next Sunday.
The JFC final between Dunsany and Curraha will also be played on Monday 26th October (bank holiday).
The date for the replay of the IHC final between Wolfe Tones and Clann na nGael has also been confirmed with that game now scheduled to take place next Saturday at 4.30pm in Pairc Tailteann with a MFL Div 3 final as a curtainraiser at 3pm.
Ratoath will also be ina action next Saturday in the Leinster Club IFC against Dublin opposition (away).
