Curraha manager John O'Brien

Curraha look like a good bet for JFC title

Looking at the formbook, Dunsany have no chance against Curraha in the JFC final curtainraiser at Pairc Tailteann on Monday.

Over the past decade they have had lots of chances of winning the JFC crown, but last year they had an abysmal campaign and had to go through the relegation play-offs to avoid the drop to the Junior B grade,

Contrast that to Curraha, the form team of the campaign, they already have a trophy in the bag in the form of the Tailteann Cup and they will be confident that they now take the leap to the IFC for next year.

Dunsany manager Conor Brennan insists the first priority was to secure promotion from the A FL Div 4 and they have achieved that. Anything else at this stage will be viewed as a bonus.

Curraha boss John O'Brien is looking forward to the decider, but is not underestimating the challenge that Dunsany will pose.
“When you have a good group of lads showing respect, doing the right things then you are on the right path,” he said.

“The Curraha lads are extremely enthusiastic, they want to improve, they want to learn. It makes coaching very easy,” he concluded.
