Minor titles for Na Fianna hurlers

There was a great win today for Na Fianna in MHC final at Pairc Tailteann where they defeated Kiltale by 1-16 to 1-11 to the delight of their large contingent of supporters.

Peter Slevin raised the cup at the presentation, but in the early stages of the game it looked like Kiltale were going to enjoy a comfortable outing as they raced into a 0-6 to 0-0 lead, but Na Fianna were ahead by 1-5 to 0-7 at the interval.

Cian Slattery found the net for Na Fianna in the 22nd minute and it was a crucial score, but Kiltale got back on level terms late in the second-half when Adam Murphy's goal revivd their challenge.

However, Na Fianna stood strong and finished with a flourish as Mark Slevin (three) and Kevin Coffey (two) sent over good points.
