Old Bridge Inn edge out Slane
The fifth round of action in the Navan and District Darts League last night produced many memorable moments as Old Bridge Inn A team (pictured) got the better of Lynch's, Slane by 4-2 with Pat McKeown managing 180 in his game against Noel.
Ian Kells won 3-1 against Ambrose Curran and Ian checked out in style with a 148.
Stephen kells junior hit 180 and lost in a great game to Pat McKeown (2-3), Pat also defeated Noel.
Pat McGowan won 3-0, John won 3-0 over young Alan and Fergus rounded off the win 3-0.
Maguire's team made the trip from Kentstown worthwhile with a 4-2 win against the Lantern B, but the Old Bridge Inn B team didn't travel as well when they made the trip up Flower Hill to the Round O and lost out to a strong host selection (2-4).
The action continues next Monday night and this time the Round O will be travelling down Flower Hill to tackle the Lantern A team while Tara na Rí will make the short trip into Kilcarn to tackle Old Bridge Inn B.
