Slane collision claims life of young man

The sole occupant of the car, believed to be in his 30’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving left the road and collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene of the collision is closed pending the completion of a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Diversions are in place.
