Aldi plans supermarket for Dunshaughlin

A planning application for an Aldi supermarket in Dunshaughlin has been lodged with Meath County Council.
Aldi Stores (Ireland) Ltd is seeking permission for the demolition of an existing building on the site and the construction of a single story discount foodstore, including off-licence, on a 0.61 hectares site is on the Lagore Road and to the rear of properties on Main Street, Dunshaughlin. Access is proposed from the Lagore Road.
The development includes the erection of signage and the plans also provide for 83 car parking spaces. A decision is due on the application on 19th January.
