Funeral arrangements for Mark Gargan

The funeral of 21-year-old Mark Gargan from Kentstown will take place in the Church of the Assumption, Kentstown, on Sunday.
Mark’s remains will be reposing at his residence at St Oliver Plunkett Park, Kentstown, from 2pm to 8pm tomorrow and on Saturday from 2pm. Removal will take place on Sunday morning at 12.15pm to the Church of the Assumption, Kentstown, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Mark will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
A son of Johnnie and Josie Gargan, Mark is also survived by his brothers David and John, sisters Linda, Tracy and Sarah Jane, girlfriend Saoirse, relatives and a large circle of friends, to whom sympathy is extended.
Mark’s remains were recovered from the River Boyne on Monday by Meath River Rescue following a three-week search involving many voluntary organisations.
