Punters like Poitin at Dundalk

Meath trainer Keith Clarke (pictured) was on the mark at Dundalk tonight when Poitin landing the last race on the card in the 10-furlong furlong handicap on the card.

Poitin was well supported and was sent-off at the 100/30 favourite with jockey Robbie Downey on board.

Downey had Poitin well placed to challenge inside the final furlong to win by a length-and-a-half.

Poitin was sixth to Political Policy last week and previously won at the track last year in February and March.
