New jersey for Meath GAA

Rumours that a new Meath jersey was to be launched onto the market proved to be true last night when Meath GAA released images of star defender Mickey Burke sporting the new style shirt in Dunganny ahead of Sunday's NFL Div 2 clash with Armagh in Pairc Tailteann.

Tayto Park remain as the main sponsor, but the most notable change to the shirt is its lighter green colour, along with the neckline being changed from a v-neck to a more modern style.

Donegal and Sligo have also unveiled new jerseys this week. The new jersey is expected to be released for sale in the next few weeks, local retailers are already recording massive pre-sale orders for the new style shirt.
