Two Meath acts on The Voice this week

It’s the final blind audition and our coaches need just two or three acts to fill their teams. This is when it gets difficult, they are anxious that they have enough space just in case the potential winner is still out there! This week Una’s cousin auditions, we have a singing taxi driver, animal lovers, a contestants from 2013 and a settled Traveller who could give Kelly Mongan a run for her money!

Nicky is quite the character and says he has never been able to hold down a job as something happens in the universe every time he gets one – ‘my last boss I was working for broke his leg twice, another boss had a breakdown and another went back on the bottle and missing for a couple of weeks’’… so he hasn’t had the best luck in terms of employment. He left home when he was 16 and slept rough a few times and he has a girlfriend who lives in New Jersey. He met her online and hasn’t met her yet but he knows he hasn’t been ‘catfished’ as they have video chatted! Singing Thin Lizzy’s The Boys are Back in Town.

Can 18 year old Michaela Hogg use her experience to make it through to the Battles?
