Cheltenham options for trainer Andy Lynch

Dunsany trainer Andrew Lynch is hoping to go to Cheltenham next month with Zabana in either the JLT Novices' Chase, the RSA Chase or the World Hurdle.

Zabana made a winning debut over fences at Leopardstown in December and then finished fourth two weeks ago at the same track in in the Grade 1 Flogas Novice Chase behind Outlander, Monksland and Pont Alexandre in testing conditions.

'I'm nearly certain we'll go to Cheltenham with him, but I'm not 100 per cent sure yet. We will give him a racecourse spin at Leopardstown at the end of February if it dries out a bit and we'll take it from there then,' he commented.
