Vital win for Navan Cosmos

Navan Cosmos remain one point adrift of Newfoundwell in the race for the North East Football League Premier title following last night's action, but crucially, the Cosmos have two games in hand as both teams won.

Navan Cosmos made the trip to Blackrock for a crucial game against Rock Celtic and won by 2-1 with goals from Rob Coombes and Conor Walsh.

Newfoundwell inflicted an 11-1 defeat on Abbey Celtic at the MDL in Navan.

In the other games last night Bay FC (from Dundalk) defeated Park Celtic Summerhill by 5-2 in Div 4.
