Nigel on the Voice this Saturday
The second Live Knockout is on Saturday 26th March due to the 1916 celebrations, where three more contestants from each team will take to the stage hoping they can impress their coach enough to make it through to the Quarter Finals. Only one act from each team can make it through.
Derry’s Johnny Kohlmeyer will be using finely honed flirting techniques to impress coach Una and will be hoping his performance of Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon will also impress!
Kirsty Rose from Dalkey will be singing Here by Alessia Cara. Meath’s finest, Nigel Connell has the support of Daniel O’Donnell and Nathan Carter having drummed for both acts. He will be singing Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney.
Moylan Brunnock is in good hands on Team Bressie having suffered from anxiety in the past he is well placed to help her with any stage nerves. She sings with the Dublin Gospel Choir and will be singing solo this Saturday with Half the World Away by Aurora.
David Idioh from Limerick is no stranger to the stage working as musical director for a Gospel Choir, he will take on High by the Lighthouse Family. And Donegal model Nerissa Moore will be strutting her stuff singing Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry.
On Team Kian, Laura Doyle from Dublin has been performing from a young age and will be singing Can’t Feel My Face by The Weekend. Roscommon’s Marc Egan is doing his own tribute to David Bowie with Rebel Rebel. And another Dub for the night Jasmine Kavanagh will be singing Take Me Home by Jess Glynne
Galway guy Johnny Garvey will be trying his hand at a boyband song with One Direction’s History. Bressie has asked Mullingar lass Caoimhe McCarthy to give him lifts home if she gets through, can she she impress coach Rachel with Lean On by Major Lazer?
And of course Derry native Ciaran O’Driscoll appeared in the UK Voice, our coaches weren’t sure if he was male or female in the Blinds such is his vocal range. Can he make it to the Quarter finals with Loreen’s Euphoria?
