New album and tour from Celtic Tenors

The Celtic Tenors, which feature Moynalty’s Matthew Gilsenan, have come home for their first tour of Ireland in many years, with their new album, ‘Timeless’, following a signing by Universal Music. Combining their ability to entertain with classically trained tenor voices, they offer something unique. Having sold millions of albums all over the world, they’re performing a series of concerts back home where it all began.

As Gilsenan, James Nelson and Daryl Simpson have performed together as the Celtic Tenors for over 15 years, they offer more than beautiful voices and
musical knowledge. Comfortable in all genres from classical and folk to Irish and pop, they bring their audience on a real musical voyage, with shows right across Ireland on their Homecoming Tour in April 2016.
The Tenors have broken new ground by stepping away from their classical roots, and adding a more contemporary edge. Their new album will offer the listeners songs from Dolly Parton to John Denver to Bob Dylan. With this pioneering approach, they’ve welcomed a wider audience and fostered a fresh and invigorating style which has won them both critical acclaim and so many fans the world over.
The tour begins on 7th April in St Peter’s and Paul’s Church, Balbriggan, Co Dublin, and throughout April goes to the Bardic Theatre, Dungannon; Strule Arts Centre, Omagh; Lough Erne Hotel, Enniskillen; Millennium Forum, Derry; Canal Court, Newry; Europa Hotel, Belfast; Triskel Christchurch, Cork; Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin (29th April) ; and two May dates in Kiltegan, Wicklow, and Lissadell Church, Sligo.
