Meath team named to face Laois in Leinster MFC

Moynalvey’s Conor Harnan is the only survivor from last year’s Meath team that started the Leinster MFC loss to Longford to feature in tomorrow’s provincial quarter-final against Laois in O’Moore Park at 3pm.
Wolfe Tones’ Eanna O’Kelly-Lynch came on as a substitute for the final quarter of the game against Longford and he will start at centre-back for Barry Callaghan’s charges as they bid to end an eight year wait for a Leinster title and a 24-year wait for an All-Ireland crown.
Harnan is one of six changes to the Meath side that lost to Dublin in the Leinster MFL semi-final in mid-March as he comes into the team at full-back. in place of Na Fianna’s Daniel Devine.
Dunshaughlin’s Adam McDermott, who played in the Leinster MFL draw with Longford, comes into goals instead of Skryne’s Dean Reddy, while Na Fianna’s hero in their SFC win over Dunshaughlin last week, Ethan Devine, will start at midfield alongside Skryne’s Daragh Campion, who also had a fine game in his club’s SFC win over Blackhall Gaels.
Moynalvey’s Brian O’Reilly and St Colmcille’s James Conlon are the other two changes from the 1-7 to 1-13 loss to Dublin with Oisin Martin, Cian O’Neill, Brian Joyce and Conor O’Byrne also missing out.
