Emerald sparkles for Killian Moore

Navan jockey Killian Moore made a welcome return to the winners' enclosure at Ludlow yesterday when he partnered Bobble Emerald to victory with his first ride on the Martin Keighley-trained eight-year-old.

The winner of a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter last May, Bobble Emerald didn't have great form going into yesterday's contest with a pulled-up, pulled-up and a third place finish 25 lengths behind the winner last time out in January.

However, on going that was good to soft yesterday, Bobble Emerald delivered after his jockey gained a good advantage at start and was soon clear.

The Dunmoe man kept his composure as he made all and Bobble Emerald kept on well from three out to win by 10 lengths. It was Moore's first success since February.
