Two Meath changes for Ring Cup final
Meath manager Martin Ennis has made two changes to his side for Saturday’s Christy Ring Cup final clash with Antrim at Croke Park, 5.30pm
Both alterations from the 1-21 to 0-21 semi-final win over Kildare in Newbridge come in the corner-back positions with Kilskyre’s Sean Geraghty replacing Navan O’Mahonys Cormac Reilly in the number two shirt, while Silvermines Tipperary player Ronan Sherlock comes into the other corner in place of Blackhall Gaels Shane Whitty.
Sherlock came on for Whitty after 14 minutes of the semi-final win over Kildare, while Geraghty appeared at half-time with Joey Keena making way.
Steven Clynch, who was a late replacement for Sean Quigley prior to the Kildare game, retains his place wearing number 15. Trim’s James Toher will captain the side from wing-forward.
