Treacy bidding for Euro success

Meath athlete Sara Treacy who is a member of Dunboyne AC will be in action this week at the European Athletics Championships.

The championships start today and finish up on Sunday in Amsterdam and Treacy will be hoping to win a medal.

Ireland is well represented at these championships and members of Dunboyne AC will be supporting Sara who will compete in the 3,000m Steeplechase along with fellow Rio qualifiers Michelle Finn and Kerry O’Flaherty.

Sara’s heat for qualifying will take place on Friday at 12:30pm Irish time and the final takes place on Sunday at 4:35pm Irish time.
