Man arrested following drug seizure

Gardai seized drugs with an estimated street value of €25,000 following a search of vehicle at Rathdrinagh, Slane, last night.
Members from the Navan Detective Unit who were on patrol in the area stopped a car shortly after 11pm. A search of the vehicle uncovered cannabis resin and herb with an estimated street value of €25,000.
The driver of the car, a 25 year old man, was arrested and is currently detained at Navan Garda Station under Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
