Five bodies discovered in Ballyjamesduff

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of the bodies of five members of a family at a house at  Ballyjamesduff today.

The discovery of the body of a man in his 40s, his wife - a woman in her 30s and their three  sons aged 13, 11 and six was made at the house at Oakdene, Barconey this morning .

The Garda investigation is ongoing but at this stage they say they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the deaths.

Senior Gardaí will hold a media briefing at Ballyjamesduff Garda station at 5pm today.
