Nationwide to feature Ardee movie tonight

Ahead of the launch of 'The Wild Goose Lodge Movie', in cinemas across Ireland on 28th October, RTÉ’s Nationwide have been to Reaghstown, Ardee to find out more about the movie.

RTÉ’s Niall Martin spent the day on location at The Wild Goose Lodge learning all about how this amazing movie was made. He met the cast and crew. He was enthralled by the 200 year old story of betrayal, revenue and death that has been brought to life in a feature length movie.

The Wild Goose Lodge movie will be a special feature on Nationwide on Wednesday 12th October at 7pm on RTÉ One. If you miss it live, catch up on the RTÉ Player.

The making of The Wild Goose Lodge Movie was a huge community effort by William Martin, Paul Macardle and over 300 local people. The result is a beautifully made movie that brings this historic story to a new generation. The movie took nearly 7 years to make, stars Dave Duffy and features a stunning soundtrack by the legendary Finbar Furey.
