Meath hurlers feature in championship draws

The draw for the Provincial Hurling Championships features Meath in the Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Championship for the first time since 2004 following their Christy Ring Cup success earlier this year.

Meath will face games against Laois, Westmeath and Kerry to complete the Leinster ‘Qualifier Group’ with the winner and runner-up going through to quarter-finals.

The Leinster quarter-finals are
Galway v Dublin
Offaly v Qualifier winner/r-up
Wexford v Qualifier winner / r-up.

The winner/r-up draws will be made after the qualifiers are completed.

Meath will be in action in the Walsh Cup in January and then the NHL Div 2B where manager Martin Ennis will be targeting promotion.
