Imagine If for Keane in opener at Navan

Trim jockey Colin Keane took his tally of winners for the season to 74 when he partnered the Ger Lyons-trained Imagine If to victory in the opener at Navan today.

The Lyons-trained runner was the 6/4 favourite and held on from the fast-finishing Aidan O'Brien-trained Elizabeth Browning.

Moynalty jockey Declan McDonogh was also on the mark at the Meath track when he partnered the John Murphy-trained Song Of The Sky to win the Arkle Bar Handicap.

The jackpot pool of €5,339.60 was not won and is carried forward to Thurles tomorrow. The Tote Aggregate - €131,796.
