Tragic Lorna to be remembered at special service

A Remembrance Mass for survivors and victims of the 2015 terrorist attack in Sousse, Tunisia which claimed the life of local woman Lorna Carty, will take place in St Patrick's Church, Trim, on Saturday, 12th November at 3pm.

The Mass will remember all 38 victims of the tragedy in Sousse, Tunisia, on 26th June 2015, including Lorna Carty from Robinstown and Athlone couple Larry and Martina Hayes, their beloved families and the victims and survivors from Ireland, England, Germany, Portugal, Belgium and Russia.
The Mass has been organised by friends of Lorna Carty and all are welcome to attend this special remembrance.
In recent months,  Lorna's husband Declan, was invited to attended a service held in the UK which he attended with son Simon. Declan is part of a support group within the UK set up to help the survivors of the tragedy and the local community felt it would be fitting to do something similar in Ireland for the victims.
Around 20 people will be travelling from the UK where they will join the family and friends of Lorna Carty and Larry and Martina Hayes to attend the remembrance Mass.
