Last Minute makes it two for Elliott

Last Minute Man had Gordon Elliott smiling today as the Summerhill man added two more winners to his tally with a double at Down Royal - Hole In The Wall was the other winner.

It keeps his challenge for the National Hunt trainers' title in top gear as the race continues to gather momentum with three months remaining in the season.

Elliott also added another €13,000 in prizemoney to his tally as he stays about €250,000 and 11 winners ahead of defending champions Willie Mullins.

Barry Geraghty was on the mark in a national hunt flat race at Southwell today when he partnered Champ (8/15) to victory and a first prize of £2,053 in the one-mile, seven-furlong contest.
