Looking for love this Valentines?
February being the month of Love, what better time to run a First Date, Speed Dating night in one of Navan’s most popular cafe’s Chekhov’s.
The organisers are looking for 15 ladies and 15 gentlemen aged between 25-40 years of age, to take part in this speed dating event on Friday, 17th February, in aid of the Heart Appeal at the Mater Foundation. Online has been taking precedent over good old fashioned dating in recent years, and while it is popular for many, some still like doing things the old fashioned way. So if you are looking for the chance to find a decent guy or lady to chat to, have a laugh with, a little kiss or maybe even love then why not come along.
Not only are you in with a chance of finding love but you will also be helping a great cause. The Heart Appeal at the Mater Foundation, work tirelessly with families of those who have lost someone to SADS to try and find a reason as to why they have lost a dear family member and also to provide screening. But without funding they are unable to carry out such researc. Since the clinic began in 2007, over 7,000 family members have been screened. By supporting this event, you will not only be looking for love, but you will also be saving lives.
For the month of February Chekhov’s will be selling love hearts for their ‘Wall of Love’ . Customers and and passersbys are encouraged to pop in and donate €2 to declare their love whether it be anonymous or otherwise and fill the walls of the cafe with declarations of love.
If you want to become one of the 30 lucky people to be in with a chance of finding love, then all you have to do is buy your ticket from www.eventbrite.ie Tickets are €25 per person and include drinks and finger food for the evening, along with a few, quick but hopefully memorable dates. So why not give love a real chance face to face while also helping a fantastic cause and help save a heart or two from unbearable heartbreak by giving love a chance at First Date, Speed Dating in Chekhov’s on Friday 17th February.
