Diesel powers to victory for Noel Meade

Noel Meade doesn't have too many flat horses but one of them won tonight at Dundalk when Sheisdiesel won on her 12th outing for the Laurelmore Partnership.

Oisin Orr had the steering duties and made his move a furlong out before forging ahead in the last 150 yards for a narrow victory.

Share The Honour was in no mood for sharing anything tonight at Dundalk on a winning debut for tainer Tony Martin in a maiden with Pat Smullen on board.

Moynalty jockey Declan McDonogh got another win out of the grey Togoville which was winning for the seventh time at Dundalk and ninth in total.

The only win on turf was at Roscommon and that was followed up by a win at Laytown when traind by Pat Martin.

Trainer Joseph O'Brien had three winners - Song Of Love landed the concluding Racing Post Handicap for Wayne Lordan, Donnacha O'Brien was on Remember The Days and Conor King won with Ligeti.
