All set for Strictly Scrum Dancing event

Navan RFC are holding what should be a night to remember when they stage their distinctively named 'Strictly Scrum Dancing!' event. 

The organisers say they have 'rounded up 32 willing volunteers' with the ultimate aim of raising funds for the club. The couples involved will perform in a live show in Knightsbrook Hotel on Friday 14th April to an expected audience of up to 1,200 people!

'Our incredible Navan Rugby Club volunteers will engage in a battle of sequins, suits and style, aiming be crowned the 'Navan RFC Strictly Scrum Dancing Champions 2017,' according to a club press release.

'Rigorous training is currently underway for all the contestants in preparation for the performance of a lifetime! The show promises to be full of glitz, glamour and excitement!'

All 32 dancers will be announced, paired together and given the dance they will perform on the night at the 'Navan RFC Strictly Scrum Dancing Launch Night' in club's Balreask Old headquarters on Saturday 11th March. Friends, family and supporters are expected to join in a fun-filled launch party.

The club wish to thank the dancers for the commitment and time they are giving in order to generate funds for the club.

Tickets are €20 and are already said to be selling quickly. They are available to purchase from the dancers or from the Navan Rugby Club bar.
