Team bus turned back in Kilcock - game postponed
Disappointment this morning for the girls from Scoil Mhuire, Trim as they were on the way to the All-Ireland Schools' Senior D Camogie final in Carlow IT.
Manager Belynda O'Gorman has advised the Meath Chronicle that they received a call to advise them that the pitch in Carlow was unplayable and that a re-fixture will be scheduled.
At that stage the team bus was in Kilcock, it was hugely disappointing for the players.
The Scoil Mhuire junior team is also scheduled to play in the All-Ireland final on 18th March, but it cannot be a double fixture as some players play for both teams.
The Meath Chronicle was at Scoil Mhuire this morning prior to departure - see interviews.
