Gardai hunt knife-wielding raiders who held up Kinnegad filling station
Gardaí at Trim are investigating a robbery that occurred last evening at the Topaz service station, Rossan, Kinnegad. At 7.15pm two males entered the premises. Both had their faces covered and both were carrying knives. One remained at the door, whilst the second male approached the counter and forced the shop assistant to empty the contents of two tills into a shopping bag. Both culprits fled the scene on foot in the direction of Kinnegad town.
The first raider is described as aged in his mid 20’s with a Dublin accent. He was wearing a light grey tracksuit and a dark grey hoody, both Adidas brand. The second culprit also had a Dublin accent. He was wearing a dark grey tracksuit with large light coloured pockets on the rear of the leggings, a dark green hoody with dark grey sleeves and dark runners with white soles.
