Is the boom back? House hunters queue to see new Johnstown homes
The threat of a protest at the showhouses of the Cois Glaisin development in Johnstown didn't deter potential house buyers who began queueing to see the new estate 24 hours before the front doors opened in a bid to secure a property.
Residents and community groups, angry at the lack of facilities available to the wider Johnstown community had planned to picket the showhouses but this was cancelled after representatives of developer, Bridgedale, met with locals last night to discuss sourcing potential land and assisting with new facilities.
The 320 dwelling development at Cois Glaisin consists of 2 Bed Townhouse House from €199,000; 3 Bed Townhouse Housefrom €229,000; 4 Bed Semi-detached House from €285,000.
Viewing is from 2-4pm this Saturday and Sunday with the brochure describing the development Cois Glaisin as 'an excellent example of contemporary living. Located in the ever popular Johnstown area of Navan, 5 minutes' drive from M3 motorway.
