Elliott on a Roll as Lisa makes it three
Tiger Roll took the JT McNamara Amateur Chase in the capable hands of Lisa O’Neill and then survived a stewards' enquiry to complete a treble for Gordon Elliott on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.
For Lisa O'Neill it was a first winner at Cheltenham, but it was a third for the Gigginstown-owned Tiger Roll which won the Triumph Hurdle in 2014 at the Festival and then again was on the mark at the October meeting that year.
Last September Wrath Of Titans gave Lisa O'Neill her first major win on the track when winning a dramatic Kerry National at Listowel.
Lisa is from Garristown and is a daughter of trainer and former jockey Tommy O'Neill.
