Hat-trick for Robbie Power

Meath jockey Robbie Power followed up on his Cheltenham Gold win with Sizing John by taking the last race on the 2017 Festival card with the Jessica Harrington-trained Rock The World in the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Challenge Cup.

The Derrypatrick, Drumree man made his move approaching the last and got the desired response from Rock The World to win from the Venetia Williams-trained Gardefort with Nicky Henderson's Theinval in third and Arthur Moore's Dandridge finishing fourth.

The win made it number 19 for Ireland with the Harringron / Power combination landing three of those - the Coral Cup along with the Gold Cup and this last race.
